Each year, One Family brings the bleeding disorders community together to celebrate World Hemophilia Day. This year's program is a powerful call to action, igniting the community to redefine what's possible in life with hemophilia. This year we’re inspiring each person to rethink their own perceived limits and explore a future of more possibilities. This year, participants will celebrate individual empowerment, challenge norms, and inspire the community. Participants will be able to take part in both group and individual activities that empower, educate, and inspire, leaving attendees motivated by the support of this diverse community.

Los participantes podrán tomar parte en actividades grupales e individuales que empoderan, educan e inspiran, dejando a los asistentes motivados por el apoyo de esta diversa comunidad.
Come join us for a night of service and hands-on education in the kitchen! Young adults ages 17-28 are invited to participate in a service event on April 21st starting at 4pm. We are scheduled to help prepare and serve a meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Aurora right by our own HTC. This is an elevated dinner experience where our group cooks alongside their Chefs. We enjoy a personalized cooking lesson while creating a special meal for families experiencing medical hardship.
Our group will arrive at 4pm and work alongside the chef to prepare the meal while receiving instruction on food safety, how-tos, and demonstrations. Once the meal is ready, we will serve the food and have a chance to eat and share stories with those staying at the house. After the meal, we will help to pack-up and clean up. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community while learning useful kitchen skills.
Once you register, you will receive an email from Anna with information on how to register through the Ronald McDonald House volunteer portal. There are only 7 spots available so register early to secure a spot. Please be on the lookout for that information as it needs to be completed in advance.
