For just $50, registered individuals will receive a lift ticket, rentals, and breakfast. Lessons are available at an additional cost of $25 per participant. Embrace the beauty and adventure the mountains offer and seize this opportunity. The program will kick off at 8:00 AM with breakfast followed by lessons starting at 9:00 AM. In preparation for Chronic Disease Awareness Day and as part of our goal to increase our community involvement in advocacy, we are excited to be hosting a mini advocacy training over a delicious dinner! The training will discuss issues important to all members of the bleeding disorders community and what we can do to advance care and protect coverage. Dinner and soft drinks are complimentary, but no alcohol may be purchased at the event. We are also offering reimbursement for hotel stays up to $150 for the night of the dinner for those attending CDAD the next day who live more than 20 miles from the Capitol Building.
All people who want to get more involved with advocacy are welcome, but priority registration will be given to those attending either Chronic Disease Awareness Day or Washington Days. Additionally, this as a working dinner with interactive education that you will be expected to actively participate in. While youth are welcome, please prepare them to be attentive to the session as they can start using their voices even from a young age!

The early years of a bleeding disorder journey are filled with unique milestones and lots of questions. Whether your little one is just starting to crawl or is navigating the adventures of school, you don’t have to do it alone. Our Bleeding Disorders Connections Program (Ages 0–6) is all about building a village. We invite you to join us for our upcoming kickoff event to meet other local families, share experiences, and let the kids play in a supportive environment.
Registration is free but there are only 32 spots available. You must have a child age 6 or younger to attend but older siblings are welcome (but be aware that the indoor playground is geared to youth 10 and under). Please note that we will not have access to any spaces at the Apex Center other than the indoor playground.
