Families in Southern Colorado, this one is for you! We are excited to offer our first ever mini education day at Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs on May 16th. This is an opportunity for families in Southern Colorado and other areas outside of Metro Denver to engage with each other and the chapter, get valuable education, and enjoy all the fun the waterpark has to offer!

Spots are limited so please registered promptly. Due to the limited number of rooms, priority will be given to those who live outside Denver/near Colorado Springs, and we won't be able to include all who want to attend. After those families are served, remaining rooms will be offered with priority given to families who attended Education Empowerment Days or our advocacy events February. Only one room is available per family. For the best chance to secure a room, you will need to register by April 15, 2026.

The event starts Saturday morning at 10am with the educational part of the event. We will open with two education session followed by a complimentary lunch hour and then the final session of the day. We will wrap up this portion of the event at or before 3pm. Families will then be able to check onto the hotel for their overnight stay and access the waterpark for an afternoon and evening of family fun and community connections. We are excited to bring our community together in this new and exciting way. Lunch Saturday will be the only meal provided, so families will be on their own for dinner but are encouraged to dine together and get to know each other.
