Chronic Disease Awareness Day
NBDF Colorado is partnering with the Chronic Care Collaborative and the Colorado Rare Disease Coalition for a Day of Advocacy at the State Capitol! Connect and share your experience with policymakers alongside other Coloradans living with rare diseases, chronic conditions, caregivers, and advocates. The day will begin with check-in and breakfast at the capitol at 8am followed by advocating and meeting with legislators in small groups led by experienced advocates. We will include legislative meetings by 11am. For those interested, at 11:30am we will relocate to the Colorado Health Capitol (303 E. 17th Ave, Denver, CO) for an optional panel discussion followed by a grab and go lunch. Register now to secure your spot using the link below and then fill out the form on our website so we know you are coming.

NBDF Colorado is hoping to have a strong presence at this event and will reimburse a hotel stay nearby for up to $150 for the night before for anyone who is attending that lives more than 20 miles from the Capitol building, with receipt and attendance at the event required. This facilitates an early arrival on Friday morning, which is especially valuable for those not living in the Denver Metro area.
