In preparation for Chronic Disease Awareness Day and as part of our goal to increase our community involvement in advocacy, we are excited to be hosting a mini advocacy training over a delicious dinner! The training will discuss issues important to all members of the bleeding disorders community and what we can do to advance care and protect coverage. Dinner and soft drinks are complimentary, but no alcohol may be purchased at the event. We are also offering reimbursement for hotel stays up to $150 for the night of the dinner for those attending CDAD the next day who live more than 20 miles from the Capitol Building.

All people who want to get more involved with advocacy are welcome, but priority registration will be given to those attending either Chronic Disease Awareness Day or Washington Days. Additionally, this as a working dinner with interactive education that you will be expected to actively participate in. While youth are welcome, please prepare them to be attentive to the session as they can start using their voices even from a young age!
