Ruby Connection Virtual Women's Group: Traveling with a Bleeding Disorder
All women in Colorado, connected to the bleeding disorders community are invited to join us as we discuss the logistics of traveling with a bleeding disorder during an online session. We'll review the rules of traveling with meds through TSA/airlines, getting travel letters from your provider, traveling abroad, and planning for medical care away from home. Any specific questions should be emailed to pammigilore@gmail.com ahead of time so they can be researched and addressed with the group. During the second half of our gathering, all attendees are encouraged to "show and tell" their current travel bags/products and to discuss what tips & tricks have worked for you. Come prepared to share either "the strangest place you have self-infused or infused someone else." Thank you to the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan (HFM) for sharing their Ruby Connection program with us through their Leaders in Action initiative. Through their generous support, a grant has been provided to reimburse meals (up to $30) for attendees who RSVP a week in advance, actively participate, and have their cameras on during the session.
Registered participants will receive a link for the zoom meeting to the email they registered with the week of the event.
