We are so excited to introduce Ruby Connection as a new way for women in the Colorado bleeding disorders community to connect! The Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan (HFM) began Ruby Connection in 2020, and they are proud to share their program and expand opportunities to women across the country through continued program and administrative support.

Ruby Connection is virtual programming targeted to women in the bleeding disorder community (personally affected, caregivers or spouses). There will be multiple meetings per year which will be either educational or leisurely in nature.

At our first meeting, Pam Migliore, a dedicated community member and participant in Michigan’s Leaders in Action program through HFM’s National Conference for Women with Hemophilia and Rare Factor Deficiencies, will introduce the concept of this program. She will lead a discussion on ideal dates and times for future sessions and guide a brainstorming conversation on topics to explore for both virtual and in-person women’s programming.
The connections formed between women in this community are extremely powerful and we want to create more opportunities for these meaningful relationships to grow, starting with this program.

Colorado participants are eligible for a meal reimbursement of up to $30 with camera on and active participation during the event. Registered participants will receive a zoom link for the meeting the week of the event.
