 rams have provided an opportunity to reach the youth in the bleeding disor
 der community. Mile High Summer Camp is a camp hosted by The Colorado Chap
 ter of the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation and The University of Co
 lorado Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center.  Mile High Summer Camp serves campe
 rs affected with hemophilia\, von Willebrand’s disease\, and other rare ch
 ronic bleeding disorders from Colorado\, Wyoming and Montana - empowering 
 youth with bleeding disorders on their journey to independence\, through a
  combination of self-infusion training\, medical education\, social suppor
 t and therapeutic recreation. We combine the traditional components of the
  summer camp model with a fully integrated medical team to ensure that cam
 pers are safe throughout the duration of the experience\, and that we have
  detailed records on bleeding disorder treatment plans to govern any unfor
 eseen medical situations.
